Flint man shot on Wednesday dies

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Flint police say one man is dead following a shooting that occurred in the area of Fenton Road and Victoria Avenue Wednesday, June 12.

Michael Zuwala, 29, was initially listed in critical condition after being shot in the head around 3 a.m. Wednesday. Police say Zuwala died from gunshot wounds the same day.

A suspect has not been identified by police. The investigation remains ongoing.

Meanwhile, The Flint Journal reports a 35-year-old man has been taken into custody on unrelated charges in Indiana.

That man is wanted in Michigan in connection to the murders of 36-year-old Ebonie Baldwin and 22-year-old Randy Srda.

The two were shot to death outside a home on East Genesee in Flint on April 6.

Officials tell The Flint Journal the person of interest will be extradited to Michigan.
