Saginaw Township holds annual Greek Fest

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Plenty of baklava and gyros await attendees of this year's Greek Festival in Saginaw Township this weekend.

The festival kicked off Friday afternoon.

Tens of thousands are expected at Saint Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church, at Mackinaw and McCarty roads, for the event.

Visitors will be treated to Greek food and pastries, church tours, native dance performances and much more.

The festival runs until 11p.m. Friday night and from noon to 11p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, it'll be from noon to p.m.
