State police search for man who walked away from halfway house

BROOKLYN, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut State Police said they're looking for a man who walked away from a halfway house in Brooklyn on Sunday night.

State police said Joseph Giles, 37, left the Brooklyn Bridge halfway house around 7:30 p.m., and was last seen in the area of Route 6 in Brooklyn.

He was described as a black man that stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 215 lbs with a shaved head.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue pants.

If anyone sees him they should not approach him and call 911 immediately.
