PHOENIX (CBS5) -
A man suspected of leading Maricopa County sheriff's deputies on a chase through north Phoenix on Thursday morning was in custody, after driving a stolen SUV to a dead-end road near Cave Creek.
A sheriff's spokesman said a deputy spotted the stolen Chevrolet Suburban being driven erratically about 7:30 a.m., and began to follow the suspect near Seventh Avenue and Joy Ranch Road in the far North Valley.
The suspect failed to stop and the chase began, ending on a dead-end dirt road east of Interstate 17 and just north of Gavilan Parkway, where the man was taken into custody.
No other information was immediately available.
