Man recovering after hitting deer with motorcycle

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A man is recovering after hitting a deer while riding his motorcycle Thursday night.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. at Bevens Road, east of Burmon Road in Kingston Township, located in Tuscola County.

Police say a 36-year-old driver was traveling westbound on Bevens Road when he hit a deer and was thrown from the bike.

He was airlifted to Saint Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. He sustained multiple injuries.

The victim's name or condition has not been released.

Police believe alcohol was a factor, but the incident remains under investigation.
