Unemployed MBA grad takes to Tucson street for job

Posted: Updated:
TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

An unemployed MBA graduate who is a father of six has taken an unusual step to land a job -- he's standing on a Tucson street corner and wielding a cardboard sign asking to be hired.

KGUN-TV reports that Scott Stewart says since he began his street campaign this week he has gotten more leads and more business cards than in the last two years.

He says he hasn't been able to land a full-time job despite hundreds of phone calls, emails and hand-delivered applications.

Stewart says his 401K is dry and he recently sold his car to pay for rent and expenses.

He says he will remain at the corner with his resume until he lands a job.
