PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) -

Authorities say a man killed his uncle after the two argued about the use of a television in the victim's apartment in Pontiac.

According to the Oakland County sheriff's office, Rico Gartis Walker was arraigned Wednesday on a second-degree murder charge. He's charged with the strangulation death of 57-year-old Robert Brantley.

The sheriff's office says Walker choked his uncle until he lost consciousness, then called 911. When they arrived Monday, deputies found Walker performing CPR on Brantley.

The 45-year-old Walker is being held without bond in the Oakland County jail. Messages seeking information on whether Walker has a lawyer were left Thursday with the sheriff's department.
