Saginaw police identify victim in city's latest homicide

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Police cars lined Court Street as officers responded to a report of gunshots Saturday afternoon. They found a man shot to death in the backyard of a home.

That man has been identified as 24-year-old Randell Harris.

The shooting happened at a home in the 3200 block of Court Street Saturday afternoon.

A TV5 photographer witnesses a large crowd gather near the scene. He said police had to break up an apparent fight.

This death marks the city's 19th homicide so far this year. Michigan State Police are also assisting in the investigation.
