TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The second week of the Moody Manor shooting trial began Monday with potentially incriminating evidence for one defendant.

Antwaine Jones and Keshawn Jennings are on trial for the murder of 1-year-old Keondra Hooks, who died from a gunshot in August of last year.

On Monday, Martin Lewis, an expert with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation took the stand. Lewis conducted tests for gunshot residue on clothing collected as evidence in the case. He testified that while one black, zip-up hoodie and a pair of sweat pants tested negative for residue, the other hoodie and a red Nike T-shirt tested positive.

The red Nike shirt was admittedly worn by Jennings on the night of the crime.

Also in court Monday, the jury viewed video taken of Jennings being questioned by detectives. During the interrogation, detectives caught Jennings in several lies – one of which being that he was never at Moody Manor on the night of the shooting. He later admitted to being there.

Jennings was actually wearing his red Nike shirt when he was being questioned by detectives. They took the shirt for evidence during the questioning.
