(Toledo News Now) -

Our "pic of the week" this week is really wonderful. One of our viewers submitted it via "See it, Snap it, Send it," and it really stood out from the rest.

Here's what the photographer had to say:

Hi, My name is Justin Schmidt and I'm a local Toledo photographer. I snapped this photograph just the other day of a man named Brian. I sat with him briefly downtown near Madison & Huron and shared in a quick convo about ourselves. He lives at the cherry st mission and seemed to have a gentle heart. It was quit a pleasure to speak w him for a moment and i was pleased when he agreed to have his photograph taken. This is perhaps my favorite image and I will be Donating a print of it to the upcoming Harbor House annual Hope Art Show. I can only hope that someone shares in it what I had seen that day. Just thought I would share with you, Thanx Justin.

We see what you see, Justin, and thank you Brian for sitting for this shot.

If you'd like to submit one of your images as "pic of the week," send them our way at pics@toledonewsnow.com.
