Saginaw police respond to overnight shooting

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

WNEM has received word of an overnight shooting in the city of Saginaw.

Officers responded to the scene on the 2800 block of Beechwood Wednesday morning and found a white male face down in the driveway of an abandoned home.

The victim was taken to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Michigan State Police are assisting Saginaw police with the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-5245.
