A man has been convicted in the death of 6-year-old Layla Jones in Saginaw last summer.
The Saginaw News reported LeVonne Greer was convicted Tuesday on all 18 felony counts, including murder.
The shooting happened at a home on the 1100 block of Essling Street on Saginaw's east side. When police arrived, they found Layla's father, Shawrone Jones, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said Layla was also struck by the gunfire. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died. She was in town visiting from Wisconsin.
Two other men were taken in custody in connection to the shooting but have not been tried.
Another suspect, Michael Lawrence remains at large.
