KOCHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Saginaw County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an overnight shooting in Kochville Township that left one man injured.

Deputies said the shooting happened at the Social Café Hookah Lounge at 5671 Bay Road around 2:40 a.m. on Friday. Authorities tell TV5 they've been monitoring escalating trouble at the lounge for the last two to three weeks.

Friday morning, deputies were called to the location for "disorderly conduct" by a group of people. By the time they arrived, the situation had been upgraded to a shooting.

Investigators said a male suspect from Saginaw had approached a line of people outside the lounge and opened fire. A 19-year-old Saginaw man was hit in the right arm. He was taken to Covenant Medical Center in a private vehicle and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies said the suspect in the shooting is still at large but didn't release any further information on him. Stay with WNEM.com and TV5 as we continue to follow the situation.
