When most people discover they've been a victim of theft, their first reaction is to call the police.

As the Seattle Times reports, one woman there had a different reaction.

According to the paper, she found a cell phone left in her car... by the person who ransacked it!

The phone's owner had "Mom" in the contacts list... so you can guess who got the first phone call.

Get this - they worked together to make that teen apologize to all the neighbors whose cars were ransacked.
