Man in critical condition following Flint shooting

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Police in Flint responded to an early morning shooting on Lincoln Avenue that left one man critically injured.

Police tell TV5 the victim, a 23-year-old white man who they identified as Matthew Allen Plumb, was shot with a handgun and remains in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center.

The shooting happened in the 1100 block of Lincoln around 4:45 a.m. That's on the city's south side.

Right now authorities did not release any information on the shooter.
