In an early morning incident, someone fired a gun into a house and then set the home on fire.
The fire happened at a home on the 2800 block of Capehart Drive near Hess Avenue in Saginaw. The area is near the intersection of Hess and Sheridan Avenues.
Saginaw Police responded to the scene around 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
Three victims suffered burn injuries and one suffered a gunshot wound. Officials say a man and a woman in their 20s were taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of second- or third-degree burns. The young woman's mother also was burned.
Another house nearby was also hit by stray bullets. The fire marshal is investigating the situation.
Fire Marshal Ralph Martin says the women live at the house and the man was visiting.
Saginaw Police Sgt. Reggie Williams tweeted around 5 p.m. that two suspects have been arrested in connection to the incident. Williams credited a tip received via Facebook for one of the arrests.
