ZILWAUKEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Two men have been charged after allegedly stealing industrial equipment at a Zilwaukee Township concrete recycling plant.

Saginaw County Sheriff deputies say Jeffrey Alan Dupuis, of Saginaw Township, and Nathan John Dammann, of Zilwaukee Township, stole about $20,000 worth of electronic motors and large industrial steel plating.

The alleged theft at Bond Trucking was first reported to deputies on the night of July 8. Bond Trucking recycles concrete and asphalt near the Saginaw River.

Deputies said after making off with the equipment, they took the items to a Saginaw scrap yard.

Both men have been charged with larceny, conspiracy and possession of burglar tools. Police also stated in a news release that Dupuis is on parole for first-degree home invasion stemming from a case in Saginaw County.

The men were arraigned on the charges Thursday.
