FLINT, MI (WNEM) -
Relatives have identified three people -- including a 9-year-old boy -- who were shot to death at a Flint apartment.
Tanya Lewis tells The Flint Journal that the boy was her grandson, Trashawn Macklin.
Police say the boy died Monday morning in an ambulance after a maintenance worker found him and the bodies of 25-year-old John Allen Jr. and 23-year-old Hakeem Easterling about 8 a.m. at the Park West apartment complex.
Easterling was Trashawn's uncle.
Allen's mother, Antoinette Moore, told MLive.com that her son "was a good young man" who only wanted to provide for his 2-year-old daughter.
Fifty-eight-year-old neighbor Gloria Atkins says she heard gunshots and found blood outside her window. She says she didn't know those who were killed.
Police are looking for suspects and are asking for the community's help in providing tips on a suspect. No arrests have been made.
Late Monday afternoon, Elizabeth Allen told TV5 the family would be holding a vigil on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Westgate Terrace Apartments.
WNEM will continue to follow this story and will provide updates as new information is learned.
