Identities released of men accused in firebombing

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Two men have been identified and are behind bars in connection with a firebombing and shooting at a Saginaw home last week.

The Saginaw News reports that 23-year-old John Granderson and 21-year-old Jemarcus Watkins face nearly 20 charges in the incident in the Sheridan Park neighborhood. The fire happened at a home on the 2800 block of Capehart Drive near Hess Avenue in Saginaw.

Six people were inside the house when shots were fired into the home around 2 a.m. last Thursday morning. The house was then set on fire.

Three people suffered burns, another was shot. They are all expected to recover.

The men were arrested just hours after the incident thanks to tips from the community.
