HOOVER, AL (RNN) - SEC Media Days will continue Wednesday with a veritable Golden Corral buffet of college football oversaturation.
Tuesday had its moments. Steve Spurrier was entertaining, Jadeveon Clowney strode through the Wynfrey Hotel being awesome. Ole Miss' Mike Marry wore a pink suit.
Wednesday will be all about Johnny Manziel, the face of the Heisman brand. He's fresh off an early exit from the Manning Passing Camp last weekend, amidst rumors of Friday partying and a Saturday hangover.
Texas A&M kicks off the day at 8:30 a.m. The line is running 8 to 5 that J. Football will make it on time.
Will he arrive wearing a tuxedo, with a Vegas showgirl on each arm, while the PA thunders the opening chords of "Teenage Wasteland?"
He will set the stage for the totally anticlimactic appearances of, in order: Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Auburn and Arkansas.
Wednesday's schedule will start with Texas A&M from 8:30 to 11:10
a.m. Coach Kevin Sumlin will speak along with players Toney Hurd Jr.,
Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and Jake Matthews.
Then Kentucky Coach Mark Stoops, along with players Donte Rumph, Raymond Sanders and Avery Williamson, will take the podium.
11:20 a.m. to 2 p.m. Coach Dan Mullen of Mississippi State will speak.
Player who will speak are Kaleb Eulls, Benardrick McKinney and Tyler
Tennessee will follow with Coach Butch Jones and players Antonio Richardson, Ja'Wuan James and Jacques Smith.
lunch, starting at 2:20 p.m., Auburn Coach Gus Malzahn and players
Chris Davis, Dee Ford and Jay Prosch will take the podium.
Arkansas will end the day with Coach Bret Bielema and players Chris Smith, Kiero Small and Travis Swanson.
