SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A neighborhood is on edge as Shreveport police investigate a triple homicide in Mooretown.
Police were called to a home in the 4900 block of Gloria Drive at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, after a relative went inside the home and found the bodies.
The Caddo Coroner's Office reports that the victims were stabbed to death.
"It's crazy. I just hope they find out who did it," said Toni Morris, a neighbor and friend.
SPD Cpl. Marcus Hines confirms the dead are two women and one man. They've been identified as 41- year old Carisa Ellison, 58-year-old, and 78-year old Irene Ellison. Irene is said to be Carise's mother.
"I see the mom out in the yard doing her flowers and stuff, very nice lady. I always speak and say good morning, good evening, just very nice people," said Morris.
At this point, police do not have a suspect. They are looking for possible witnesses and anyone who may have heard or seen anything in the area in order to determine what happened at the home.
Anyone with information is asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crimestoppers at 318-673-7373.
