Fatal shooting claims life of Saginaw man

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

A man is dead following a shooting Sunday night on Saginaw's east side.

Officers responded to the shooting on the 3000 block of Birch Park Drive and found the man suffering from a single gun shot wound.

The man was transported to St. Mary's hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Dravon Hooker.

The shooting is under investigation.

On Monday, TV5 reporter Liz Gelardi tweeted that Hooker's mother said his half-brother, Bobby Bailey, was killed last august.
