Police are investigating an overnight shooting in east Phoenix that wounded two men and they say they have little information on the shooter.
Phoenix police Lt. George Ramirez said were called to an apartment complex near 30th and Roosevelt streets for a report of shots fired about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers found two men, one inside an apartment and one outside, with gunshot wounds.
Both the victims were taken to the hospital and are in serious condition. Ramirez said the victims were in surgery Tuesday morning.
Officers performed a ground search for the shooter but didn't find anyone. Officers found an SUV parked nearby with the lights on and the doors open and they say they're working to identify if it has anything to do with the crime.
"We don't have any witnesses at this point that can actually identify any outstanding suspects, so we are hoping we can develop some of that information as the night progresses," Ramirez said.
