The Clare County Sheriff's office says deputies were called Wednesday to a home in Surrey Township where a man was accused of threatening someone with a pistol.
The incident happened in the area of Riley and Hatchery roads. When deputies arrived, they said that a 46-year-old Farwell man had pointed a gun at a salesman who had come to his house, and his neighbor's house.
Deputies arrested the man on felonious assault charges and lodged him at the Clare County Jail.
That man, whom authorities identify as Kurt Clark, 46, was arraigned in court Thursday on a charge of felonious assault. His bond was set at $2,500 and Clark has since been released.
