BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A woman accused of kidnapping and robbing a University of Toledo foreign exchange student had a video arraignment Wednesday morning.

Brittany Long was arrested Tuesday around 7 p.m. and taken to the Wood County Jail on kidnapping and robbery charges stemming from an incident over the weekend in which police say she kidnapped a Chinese student from the University of Toledo and robbed him.

Her case has been continued until Aug. 28.

Long was released on her own recognizance and ordered to live with her father. She was ordered to have no contact with anyone involved in the case and will be subject to drug testing.

Police say Long lured her victim with an online invitation to Cedar Point, but when the victim responded to her invitation, she held him against his will and robbed him. Police say there were three other people involved in the ordeal. One woman told the victim she also had been abducted, but police believe it was just part of the plan. She has not been arrested yet and no charges have been filed at this time.

Bowling Green Police say they are still looking for the other suspects involved in the incident. Anyone with information should call Bowling Green Police at 419-352-2571 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-54CRIME. You may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
