Police were busy Friday afternoon as they responded to three separate traffic crashes within about an hour of each other in Saginaw County.
Officers were on the scene of an injury accident at the intersection of North Carolina and Cooper streets on the city's west side. That crash happened around 1 p.m. Friday.
It is unclear of the severity of the injuries sustained.
The next crash happened at the intersection of East and Houlihan roads in Saginaw County's Spaulding Township. The crash was paged out around 1:30 p.m. Friday. A car pulling out of an area convenience store struck a motorcyclist heading northbound on East Road.
The cyclist swerved to avoid the crash but ended up hitting a corner of the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was not wearing a safety helmet and sustained injuries to his ankle and the back of his head. The injuries were not life-threatening.
Another crash took place at the intersection of Bradley and Gera roads in eastern Saginaw County. Not much is known about this crash. That crash happened around 1:45 p.m.
TV5 has also received word of a crash on Dixie Highway near the intersection with Chicago Street. The area is just south of Hess Avenue. The call came in about the accident at around 4:30 p.m. Not much is known about that crash.
