TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A robbery suspect was taken into custody thanks to help from the Toledo Police Department's Facebook page.

Police say last week a man robbed a woman in a Speedway parking lot, located at Jackman Road and Sylvania Avenue in west Toledo.

The TPD posted his photo and brief details of what happened on their Facebook page. Within hours, tips started flooding in and detectives, along with the gang unit, were able to locate the suspect and arrest him.

Charges are now pending.
