According to highway patrol troopers, 19-year-old Kyle Dimick, of Toledo, was traveling at a high rate of speed in Middleton Township around 10:40 p.m.
Officials say he lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to overturn in the roadway.
Dimick was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the median. He was taken to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say Dimick was wearing a helmet and protective clothing at the time, which helped minimize his injuries.
