'Suspicious activity' ends with police arresting 4
TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
Tuscola County Sheriff's deputies were called to Vaughn Village Trailer Park after a concerned citizen noticed a suspicious vehicle.
Deputies arrived at the Indianfields Township park just after 2 a.m. where they located the vehicle and saw items through the window, indicating more suspicious activity.
The deputies said they stayed in the area and eventually saw several people running. Two were caught immediately, and two others a short time later.
Authorities said their investigation led them to a business on M-81 near Walk Road that has been the sight for numerous break-ins lately. Investigators said the structure is a storage building and used to hold scrap metal.
Tuscola County Undersheriff Glen Skrent said four subjects were arrested and lodged at the county jail. Skrent said two of them had outstanding warrants and one was on probation.
Authorities said their names will be released after they're arraigned.
