Mid-Michigander wins $10K in Tim Hortons contest

ALMA, MI (WNEM) -

Rebecca Adkins, a resident of Alma, Mich., is $10,000 richer thanks to Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's first Chill to Win summer contest.

Adkins won a $10,000 MasterCard® prepaid card, one of the top prizes up that was up for grabs in the summer contest and was presented with her prize at a special event on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

The bakery cafe chain's guests had the chance to win thousands of hourly prizes, including digital cameras, Coleman beach kits, daily prizes of $1,000 and one of ten $10,000 MasterCard® prepaid card grand prizes, with the purchase of any size Iced Capp frozen drink at Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants across the United States.

As of June 30, 2013, Tim Hortons had 807 restaurants in the United States and 4,304 restaurants systemwide.
