Though we're starting the day with clouds, high pressure over the Great Lakes will continue to keep us in a dry pattern today and Tuesday. Both days feature a mix of clouds and sun, with occasional bouts of mostly sunny skies. Highs reach the low 70s in the mountains, with upper 70s Upstate. By Tuesday night we'll start to build in more clouds, but the dry weather continues.
A weak area of low pressure is expected to track in our direction on Wednesday, bringing widespread cloud cover and scattered rain showers. This passing system is not expected to bring constant rain, like the storm that moved through last Saturday, so overall, we'll see mostly cloudy skies, on & off rain showers, as well as cooler temperatures in the upper 60s to middle 70s.
High pressure will build in once again on Thursday, keeping us dry in the 70s with partly cloudy skies. Friday through the weekend continues in the dry pattern, eventually going from partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
