SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -
Saginaw police have released the identity of one of the victims in a triple shooting that killed two men and injured a third.
Investigators said Joseph Ball, 26, was one of the two men killed in the 1400 block of S. Michigan in the city of Saginaw early Wednesday morning.
Authorities said they are not releasing the name of the second man killed as they are still trying to connect with his immediate family members. Police also said they don't have any suspect information to pass along.
The third surviving victim was taken to an area hospital where at last check he was listed in critical condition. Police have not said what prompted the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 1-800-422-JAIL.
TV5 reported Thursday that residents in the neighborhood were not notified that the house where the shooting took place is a halfway house for parolees. Click here to read more about that story.
