Two suspects are behind a two-months-long robbery spree that has Phoenix police scrambling for leads.
The pair has committed six separate armed robberies and one attempt armed robbery at various businesses in Tempe and Phoenix, said Silent Witness Sgt. Darren Burch.
One of the two suspects uses a note to demand money from the cash registers while the other one displays a handgun in his waistband, Burch said.
The suspects flee the area after obtaining the money. No vehicle has been observed.
The robberies have occurred between July 20 to Sept. 23 at these locations:
2700 W. Baseline Rd., Tempe (Little Caesars - twice)
7000 S. Central Ave., Phoenix (Family Dollar Store)
1800 W. Southern Ave.,, Phoenix (Little Caesars - attempted robbery)
1600 E. Southern Ave.,, Phoenix (Family Dollar Store)
410 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix (Dollar General Store)
711 E. Broadway Rd., Tempe (Little Caesars)
Both suspects are described as Hispanic men between 17 to 20 years old. They are 5'8" tall and weigh 160 pounds.
