Police have arrested four people suspected in a Glendale home burglary after scouring the area and locking down a nearby school.

The Glendale Police Department said officers were called to a burglary in the 6100 block of West Willow Avenue about 11 a.m. Friday, after the homeowner found four suspects raiding his home.

When he confronted them, they jumped in a vehicle they had parked nearby and sped off. Glendale police said the driver collided with a concrete barrier in a nearby yard.

Three of the suspects fled and one surrendered to police.

As police looked for the three suspects, Ironwood High School was placed on lockdown.

Officers caught two of the suspects and the third one was nabbed with the help of a police canine.

The suspects included two men, one woman and a teen girl.

Glendale police said no one was hurt.
