SIERRA VISTA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities arrested four teenage suspects believed to be connected to the vandalism of as many as 121 vehicles in Sierra Vista.

The Sierra Vista Police Department received many reports in August of vehicle damage, including rocks thrown through windows. The estimated cost of damages reached $100,000 by early October.

"Citizens came forward with pieces of information that Special Operation detectives and the Community Response Team were able to put together to identify the suspects involved," Chief of Police Tom Alinen stated .

An investigation led by the Special Operations Bureau and Community Response Team resulted in the arrest of three suspects on Friday, Oct. 4.

Christian Kyle Bense, 18, was charged with ten counts of felony criminal damage; 16-year-old Jacob Evan Hocker and 17-year-old Zachary Taylor Carter Bennett were both charged with ten counts of felony criminal damage and three counts of arson.

They were booked into the Cochise County Jail. Bense is being held at $500,000 bond; Bennett and Hocker are being held on $750,000 bond.

A 16-year-old from Hereford was referred for his suspected involvement in two criminal damage activities and one arson activity, police said.
