NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police have made two arrests in connection to a home invasion on Humphreys Street Monday night.

Both 20-year-old Jacquese Allen and 21-year-old Tyis Crutcher are accused of kicking in the door to an apartment around 11:40 p.m. Police say Allen and Crutcher held the two female residents at gunpoint for 30 minutes while they searched the apartment for drugs and stole a flat-screen TV and a laptop.

One of the women saw them drive away in a dark-colored Nissan sedan. An officer later saw the vehicle pull behind the Dollar General on Lafayette Street. The officer initiated a stop, which is when two passengers got out and got away. Crutcher is believed to be one of the passengers.

Allen, the driver, stayed put and confessed to the crime. He is being held on a $157,000 bond. He's facing charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, use of a gun in the commission of a dangerous felony and theft.

Crutcher was later taken into custody at his home on 26th Avenue North. His bond is set at $365,000. Crutcher is facing charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and use of a gun in the commission of a dangerous felony.

Crutcher is a convicted home burglar and got a three-year probated sentence in 2011.

The women's television and computer were found in the car. Officers also found two pistols, one of which was reported being stolen in June.
