Jury convicts Colonial Heights man of manslaughter after 2nd DUI

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA (WWBT) -

A man has been convicted on manslaughter charges after a DUI crash killed his friend. 

Aaron Christy, 30, of Colonial Heights crashed his vehicle in June of 2013, according to the Richmond Times Dispatch. His friend Andrew Buhrman, 29, was a passenger in the front seat at the time, and died as a result of his injuries. 

Christy faces up to 10 years in jail. He also spent four days in jail for another DUI conviction in 2011.
