Authorities say a woman used her pregnancy as a way to try to escape from the Livingston County jail.
According to Sheriff Bob Bezotte, Ray Lynn Dennis-Sessions used red Kool-Aid to pretend she was bleeding and having pregnancy complications.
Deputies took the Fowlerville resident to the hospital, but a doctor concluded she wasn't bleeding and had been faking distress. Bezotte says Dennis-Sessions planned to use the hospital visit as a way to escape.
Prosecutors say she's under investigation for filing a false report and conspiracy to escape.
Dennis-Sessions already is in trouble, having pleaded guilty to delivering meth and operating a meth lab.
The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus reported Thursday Dennis-Sessions pleaded guilty as an habitual offender and faces life in prison when she's sentenced Nov. 21.
