HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Authorities in Bay County are looking for thieves who broke into several storage units.

Hampton Township police said the break-ins occurred sometime late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Investigators said someone cut the fence at the East Side Mini Storage on Young's Ditch Road. They broke into an RV trailer stored there, making off with electronics and televisions.

That same night, police believe the same group cut the locks and broke into 30 storage units at East Storage on Ridge Road. Police are in the process of talking with all the renters at that location. No arrests have been made.

About a month ago, Hampton Township had two separate incidents at East Bay Storage on Center Ave. The first time, 16 locks were cut and the second time, thieves cut the fence, rolled it up, drove a vehicle in and hit 26 storage units.
