After weeks on the run, Saginaw police say they have captured Tierra Washington.

Washington, 23, has been wanted in connection to the homicide of Randell Harris, which took place at 3228 Court St. on June 29 on Saginaw's west side. She was considered armed and dangerous, and police had cautioned the public about attempting to confront her if she was discovered.

Investigators said an anonymous tips came in through CRIMESTOPPERS, MyPD app, and Facebook about her whereabouts on Athens Street in Saginaw. She was taken into custody by officers and the Major Crimes Unit Thursday afternoon.

"Citizens are gradually showing that they want a positive change in Saginaw," said authorities in a news release. "By continuing to give anonymous valid tips, a change is definitely taking place."

Washington has not yet been formally charged.

Police said Leonarr Moore, 29, and Derwin Andrews. 40, have already been arrested and jailed in connection to the same homicide.

Authorities said they are still interviewing witnesses regarding this case and the investigation is on-going. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-422-JAIL.
