OTTAWA, Oct. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - A recent string of disasters-the floods in Alberta, the derailment and explosion in Lac Mégantic and the deadly bus-train crash in Ottawa-focus increased attention on public safety, emergency management and security.
SecureTech 2013 is a two-day showcase at the Ottawa Convention Centre on October 29-30 that is devoted to public safety, emergency management and security. The event is organized by CADSI, representing more than 975 companies in Canada's defence and security sector. The event features more than 140 exhibitors, 2,500 participants and leading experts from the public and private sectors focused on the latest strategies, best practices and policy insights.
