BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police are asking for the public's help to track down two men who brazenly tricked a homeowner so one of them could burglarize a home.

Bay County Sheriff's deputies say the man is accused of burglarizing a Monitor Township home in the middle of the afternoon on Oct. 23.

Authorities said the man knocked on the back door of a residence in the 5000 block of Fairway, claiming he was doing yard measurements.

While the home owner was in the yard, another man entered the home and stole several items.

The man is described as being Hispanic in appearance, about 30-years old and standing about 5'3" tall.

If you have any information you are asked to call the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 989-895-4050.
