Michigan State Police troopers from the Mt. Pleasant Post say they've arrested a man on criminal sexual conduct charges.
Troopers said 31-year-old Robert David Foster, of Mount Pleasant, was taken into custody on Oct. 21 on third-degree CSC charges. Foster is accused of sexually assaulting a 29-year-old Osceola County woman, in Mecosta and Osceola counties, over the course of a year.
During the investigation, troopers said they were able to identify another victim, who provided details of being sexually assaulted by Foster that had occurred in Isabella County.
Troopers said Foster was arraigned on Oct. 22 and he's currently being held at the Mecosta County Jail on $250,000 bond.
If convicted, each third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge has a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. Also, additional charges are being sought in Osceola and Isabella counties.
