SPAULDING TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A traffic crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger car left two people with minor injuries.

The crash happened Monday morning around 9:47 a.m. on M-13 between Husen and Curtis roads.

M-13 was shutdown at that section in Saginaw County's Spaulding Township while crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash. For a while, Sheridan Road was used as an alternate route through the area.

Authorities told TV5 their initial investigation indicated the driver of the white car was at fault for pulling in front of the truck.

TV5 later learned the truck had no load in the trailer. A 17-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 17-year-old driver had a minor head injury.

The truck driver was not hurt. No further information was released.
