Saginaw man claims $1M Halloween lotto winnings

SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Three $1 million prizes were awarded across seven states in the multi-state Halloween.

One of those top prizes was won by a player in Millions Raffle Michigan. The lucky winning ticket was sold at the Meijer gas station in Saginaw.

On Friday, Raymond Draus, of Saginaw, claimed his prize. After taxes, Draus received just over $707,000. He told lottery officials that he intends to use his winnings to pay off some bills and travel.

Lotteries in, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Oklahoma participated in the multi-state Halloween Millions Raffle, which began September 8 and culminated in a drawing November 1.

The two other $1 million winning tickets drawn in the raffle were sold in New Jersey and Ohio.
