SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Funeral arrangements have changed for former Saginaw police officer Charles Braddock.

His family now says the funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at Wolverine State Baptist headquarters.

The 55-year-old Braddock was a respected community activist who served with the Saginaw police department for eight years.

He was taken off life support last week after suffering a stroke.

In August, the body of 50-year-old Darlene Sue Kozak of Linwood was discovered wrapped in a blanket in the driveway of Braddock's home. Braddock said that he was on vacation and returned home to find the body not far from a vehicle.

He was also one of the people who led public charge for the criminal investigation into the death of Milton Hall last year.
