Fire crews from several agencies worked to put out a fire in the city of Lapeer. They were out there all night and the fire has been contained.

The Lapeer Fire Department told TV5's Colette Boyd the fire started around 7 p.m. Tuesday night in an apartment complex near the PIX Theater, which is in downtown Lapeer.

Nobody is injured, and the 15 residents inside the apartment complex all got out safe.

Right now, firefighters aren't specifying the extent of the damage or the cause of the fire.

The Red Cross is on location assisting residents who are affected by this fire.

Count on TV5 for updates on the developing situation.
