High winds at the Mackinac Bridge are prompting officials to close the span to semi-trucks and trailers.
The measure was reported Monday morning by TV stations WWTV-WWUP. It comes as a Midwest storm brought damaging winds to the state.
High winds were an issue last week at the five-mile span connecting Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas. On Thursday, officials escorted some taller or larger vehicles across the bridge.
