Woman killed after accident involving a driverless truck

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman is dead after a pickup truck ran her over in Oro Valley last night.  The accident happened after she stopped to help the stranded vehicle.

The Oro Valley Police are reporting the woman was killed after she stopped to help someone fix their pickup truck.  It all happened after 8 p.m. on Monday night.

According to eye witnesses that truck was apparently left on as it was being fixed, it then shifted somehow into drive and hit the woman.

The truck then reportedly continued to drive in a circle in the parking lot, at least three to four times, each time running over the woman.

Oro Valley Police have not released the name of the woman, but they have said she was 32-years old.
