Henrico police: Woman robbed with stun gun at Hardee's

Posted: Updated:

Henrico police are looking for the man who they say, robbed a woman in a Hardee's parking lot Monday night.

According to investigators, on December 2 around 6:00 PM, an adult female was approached by a male suspect while she was getting into her car. She was parked at the Hardee's on South Laburnum Avenue near Williamsburg Road.

Police say, the suspected threatened her with a stun gun and demanded money. The victim kicked the suspect as he took cash from her hand. He then ran from the scene.

No one was hurt and Henrico police are releasing a very vague description of the suspect.

Jackie Dooms drops her boyfriend off at Hardee's every day. He works at the fast-food restaurant. With her, in the backseat, is her infant son. She was shocked when we told her about the robbery.

"That makes me scared because what if they come up behind me and my son's in the car," said Dooms.

Henrico police are asking anyone with knowledge about this crime to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 780-1000.
